I am not  the List admin (don't know whether FSF  mailing lists have a
moderator or not !!) still ...

AFAIK,  FSF mailing  list don't  filter  mails with  respect to  their
contents. It is the duty/responsibility  of each member to ensure that
their mails are relevant in any  mailing list. We should not leave the
task to any other person. 

OT: The so called "Net Police" doesn't not exist in most of the lists,
except ILUG Bangalore (at-least to my knowledge).

PS:  IMHO,   Ideological  differences  and  quarrels   helps  less  to
community. Ultimate Freedom  in computing should be our  goal. Let all
our deeds/talks move us to attain that.
