Great. No X, no wm, no moz, no gnome / kde. That reduces the footprint
by half.

Bash is a must and is not too heavy anyway.

will check festival and friends footprint. But the above should fit in
128mb.

Very easily done. Kernel and modules will be about 1% to 2% of your
distro size anyway. So it's not going to save any worthwhile space
anyway.
What mobo, ram size?
