[ILUG-BOM] [OT] Triband Filter

Hello All,

Had anyone in the past faced a similar problem
described below.

When I switch on the power for my computer from Spike
Guard, the ADSL Link/Act light of the D-Link Router
starts blinking and keeps on blinking. When I lift the
phone receiver, I hear sounds similar to modem
handshake, along with the dial tone. Now, the ADSL
Link/Act light comes to a standstill and I can connect
to the internet when I log in to my OS.

I called up MTNL on 1504, and they said the problem is
with the filter. I have been given a complaint number.


What I am interested to know is whether anyone has
faced a similar problem, and, if yes, was it with the
filter? If yes, did guys from MTNL replace / repair
the filter? Or did they ask to purchase a new one?

Where in Mumbai would it be available?
