[ILUG-BOM] Hp Scanjet 4400c ...not working :(

hi all,
       I have a Scanner HP Scanjet 4400c which is not working under Linux. I
tried it on Fedora / RH-9.0 / RHEL-3.0 but :( well i must tell u one thing the
hardware browser shows the scanner in system devices. It is connected to USB
PORT ... have tried with latest version of Sane too :( Does anybody have
solution for this ... kindly reply.
