Introduction:	This course is designed to make the participants understand the 
conceptual framework necessary to create embedded, real time, multitasking 
applications with built in reliability. Course emphasis is on how to design and 
develop an embedded application. 

Learning Objective:  After completing the course participant will be able to:  
* Know what is an embedded system and it’s applicability.
* Understand characteristics of any embedded system
* Understand system design issues & Embedding of RTOS into an application. 
* Take up the process of developing a real time multitasking embedded 
application. 

Prerequisites :	This course is designed for those who wish to extend/sharpen 
their skills in the embedded area. 

Educational Background: Engineer (Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation, 
Electrical , Communication ) with good knowledge of ‘C’ Programming & minimum 1 
year experience

28 Years of Industrial Experience at National & International level in 
Research , Development, Design and Engineering. Companies worked with include 
Telco, Cummins, Nelco and Tilak AutoTech. Few major contributions include Power 
Automation (Patent Pending) & Electronic Fuel Controllers (more than 5000 
controllers are in the field).

He is the Managing Director of Tilak AutoTech a company engaged in embedded 
controls in the application areas of Image Processing, Product Testing and High 
Speed Assembly Machines for customers in India and Italy. 
  b) Training Experience:							
	Worked as a Professor and HOD for PICT. He has conducted several short-
term and long-term training programs for working engineers.   

Faculty Name:	Ms.Ujjwala Deshpande, Sr. Exec (Training) SEED Infotech
Education:	M.E. (Control Systems) College Of Engineering Pune
Experience:	Industrial Experience:  
5 years as Design Engineer in Controls & Automation Area, Developed a Host-
Target Development Environment for 8051 based Embedded Controls. She has 
completed 10 industrial projects with the responsibility of Design, Engineering 
& Development of the control, SCADA software & Commissioning of the projects. 
	b) Training Experience: 
2 years of Training Experience in C, C++, DS, SDK. ISD Project Manager for 
Course Designs, Currently working as project manager: Embedded Systems.  2 
years as a lecturer in PICT
