Speaking about handling Indian Langauge content. PHP has support to
handle Unicode, so does any other scripting language, PERL, Python.
MySQL >> 4.01 can store scripts natively in Unicode. PostgreSQl also
handles scripts in Unicode.  Now the question of content delivery, the
servers [Apache, Jboss, zope..] it doesn't for it, since it just
serves the data (file's irrespective of the encoding it is in).

Most of the CMS [LAMP] based handle indic content.
http://www.joomlaindia.org/prod/ is one of the good example. Now comes
the question, How do i put in content, you cld either use your OS
input methods like SCIM, IIIMF or XKB. or use the web based Indic
input methods ,

I'm not sure what you mean by Content delivery to do with Browsers,
Most of bowsers render unicode properly, even mozilla does it. The
printing issue isn't resolved with Mozilla. Opera is the best of the
lot when it come to rendering and printing Indic content.
