You see Lunatech, even the creator of GPL Richard.M.Stallman himself has
earned money by shipping Emacs on a disk in days when there were not
most high speed networks.Those who had access or had friends on nascent
Internet download emacs anyway. 

Perhaps the statement in interview meant 'Free Software is not against
business, but doesn't economic gain is one aspect of the Free Software
not as in OSS' .

What the statement by Dr.Nagaruna is supposed mean is beyond my
comprehension, but there are not one but many people who earn their
livelihood by customisation and enhancing free software.Even in India I
can point some business entities which much make all their through free
software solutions.

The 'Understanding The Free Software Philosophy is written by FN and
Jhinuk, am waiting to hear their ideas on this.
