Linus may be right. `Linux' might not be ready for the desktop.

But the GNU/Linux  operating system is. And people  like my mother and
sister (I have no brothers) do use it.

Next time  anybody tells you that  `Linux' is not ready  for desk top,
ask  him to  use GNOME,  which is  part of  the GNU  project,  or KDE,
another equally free and user friendly desktop.
