Schools to get $20 m grant from Microsoft India
To push local language computing in the State, Microsoft=20
Corporation India Ltd  announced the roll-out of its $20-
million IT education programme for schools in India and an=20
agreement on a programme with the Orissa Government.

Language matters, Windows, MS Office to be in 5 Indian languages=20
With the aim of  promoting business, Microsoft India has devised=20
a three-pronged strategy in India this year. The company will be=20
focussing on =92accelerating IT literacy, improving security and=20
enabling local IT opportunities through vernacular language=20
interfaces=92 in and around its software packages.=20
