I have similar experience with my DLink DSL modem's web management 
interface.  There is a "Save and Reboot" button on one of the pages, in 
FF nothing happens when I click on it whereas in IE it saves the 
changes and reboots the modem.

View>Page Source might be helpful to identify any browser specific 
client side code.
