Yes, but I wouldn't recommend learning from it directly. First refer to 
O'Reilly's Learning the bash Shell, 3rd Edition. Read it completely and 
properly, then come back to ABS and most importantly, man bash. man bash is 
not understandable if you haven't read either the ABS or LtbS.
