JTD's Post was not at all a flame or discouraging new comer.
I too found that student want ready made project on platter.
Net is full off linux material, and it is expected that they do some home
work, before expecting any one to respond on list.
I have subscribed to many embedded list, and usually "give me schematic and
code for blah blah" approach is discouraged.
