Umm...not to belittle BSD community but BSD isn't not exactly known 
widely, is it? Sure, they have great stuff but its not always superior 
code / technology thats used by the masses. Look at M$ Windoze :). By 
far and large Linux is much well known, is more widely used and has a 
larger community.
