  Tech Tip

   If you're running a blog with Blosxom (see Reuven Lerner's "At the
   Forge" column in the current LJ) and want to change the date of an
   entry, simply use the -d command-line option to touch. -d accepts a
   variety of date formats, much as it does in GNU date.

touch -d "april 1" my-cat-mittens.txt

touch -d yesterday my-bunny-spock.txt
