Looks like support for Free Culture in increasing! Here is an intersting
post that I saw in Google+ today:

Hi everybody, I'm Christie Isaac, a solo musician that works with linux.
You may have seen my video for the track "One" that I posted here a while
ago, well my new track "It's Nice To Have You Back" is out now at
http://christieisaac.bandcamp.com/track/its-nice-to-have-you-back for FREE
download.
The track was mnade entirely under Ubuntu 13.04 with Ardour, Renoise and
Hydrogen. I used Calf and linuxdsp plugins mostly.
