[FSUG-Bangalore] a brief report about GIMP and Inkscape workshop at RVCE

HI all

sorry for being late and short report

There was a workshop hosted by department of M.C.A in R.V.College of
Engineering on "Designining using FOSS" ( art design )

around 35 students attended the workshop ,

Mr Hiran.V was the resource person

on day 1: introduction to GIMP was given for about half an hour and few
exercises were done. Hiran started with bitmap and svg in afternoon and gave
an introduction to several tools available on inkscape and demonstrated some
his fantastic work

on day 2 -- more advanced topics were handled and finally each one were
given a topic for design and finally there was a review session where they
were told about what are the essential things that have to be taken care
while doing art design .

certificates were issued for all participants
