and the egalitarian nature of the Internet

Hi Senthil and all,

The IGF is from 3 to 6 December in Hyderabad. It is a meeting under the
UN, attended by national governments, organisations like ICANN, civil
society, and a lot of business. It is a policy dialogue forum relating
to Internet governance issues.

It would be great if there is a considerable civil society presence from
India, to counter the push of big business that is tremendously well
organised and makes it seem as if there is overall consensus on the
ideas it is putting forward, and trying to turn into policy worldwide.
Only civil society can make clear that such agreement does not exist...

For more information, check http://www.intgovforum.org and

comments.

All the best,
Anja
