The above comment by shyam is the common stand of protesters including
me. I was in Thrissur, in my home with no connectivity. While some SMC
friends informed about the content of Slashdot & I communicated with
shyam and other people participated in the boycott novell campaign and
asked shyam to post the above as our common stand.

>> though I already expressed solidarity for your protest - senior fsf
folks who were or the dias - why didn't you raise it with them and get
it sorted out - before going on a protest - did u speak to nargjuna sir
who on the dias..did they refuse to listen to your point - I am sure
they would not have done so

I feel the slashdot comment is diverting the Free Software Issue and
portrays unwanted fight between Free software movement & Communist party
of india, a biggest supporter of Free software Movement

>> glad that u realise some whole timers and senior members of fsf are
diverting the issue and potraying a unwanted fight..and I guess
somebody sent a simillar unwanted mail some time back - but no one wants
to answer this douple speak. Why don't you directly discuss this with
the party which is the supporter of the movement directly and get in
sorted out

In bangalore campaigns i feel we dont need to split on these unwanted
fights. we have to work together for promoting Software Freedom

>> sure !! I am glad - if this double speak is not there - otherwise it
is going to be hard

Any responsible politician should be encouraging a home grown Free
Software industry because it creates the basis for future jobs.
