The above comment by shyam is the common stand of protesters including
me. I was in Thrissur, in my home with no connectivity. While some SMC
friends informed about the content of Slashdot & I communicated with
shyam and other people participated in the boycott novell campaign and
asked shyam to post the above as our common stand.

I feel the slashdot comment is diverting the Free Software Issue and
portrays unwanted fight between Free software movement & Communist
party of india, a biggest supporter of Free software Movement

In bangalore campaigns i feel we dont need to split on these unwanted
fights. we have to work together for promoting Software Freedom
