 The registration for 23rd Annual Conference and Meeting of the TeX
 Users Group (TUG 2002) has started. The registration pages are at:

 Four pre-conference tutorials have been arranged:
 
 1. Introduction to LaTeX (Novice level)
 2. LaTeX to SGML/XML to PDF conversion
 3. Metapost and PDFTeX
 4. XML and TEI
 
 Tutorial participants will be provided with TeXLive 7 and XML/TEI
 CDROM's and printed version of LaTeX Tutorial. The first tutorial is
 aimed at novice users while others are of highly specialized ones in
 the document processing technologies. A hands on session is also
 planned for participants of Tutorial No. 1. The tutorials are from 1
 to 3 September 2002.
 
 The main conference will be during 4 to 7 September 2002. Most of
 the luminaries in the TeX world do participate and make their
 presentations, some of them are relevant to India like usage of
 Indic scripts and Omega.
 
 This is the first time that the international conference of TeX
 Users Group is happening in India or outside Europe/US and as such,
 please dont miss the chance to participate.
