The point is that /Me and Pappu are talking from the developer PoV.
In reality the developer is aiming for the future. That's how the
project survives -- without developers looking forward it is *DEAD*.
We see a project and not the product , and the aims and ambitions of
the project rather than the product attributes.
What Fred is speaking about is the User POV. He's right about what
he's talking about -- users. The user looks only at what he gets and
judges the product attributes (cost,quality...). This is the main
difference that I was able to understand between our views.
