Thanks for the prompt reply. I was able to compile it after getting the
libyahoo files from sourceforge.

another problem when trying to connect. i did check sourceforge for some
sort of docummentation but did not find any so here it is. 

gnuyahoo --user=crazyharshu
Password:
Initializing yahoo connection ...[libyahoo] failed to connect to pager
auth server

as soon as i enter the password it immediatly gives this error. i double
checked if the connection to the internet was actually there. i am on a
dialup.
