Re [Fsf-friends] TN may shut door on Microsoft

Yesterday The Hindu carried a half-page advertisement where the State Govt claimed that "All Government agencies in Tamil Nadu use only Open Source Software" (or words to such effect) and an image of Tux.

Great step. (Perhaps soon we may be seeing Free Software instead of Open Source - but I think it conveys the *spirit*.)
