That much is ok,  it could have been better if he said that control of information should also be with the people. The rest of what he says can at best be a science fiction. "Interplanetary systems as backbone" - Why should ordinary people be taxed for such a huge cost intensive project ? Secondly, what guarantee is there that common people will control such information backbone ? It will be with corporates only. Even the present Internet backbone is slowly changing hands and going private - something that should have rung the danger bells pretty long ago - its not happening. So long as backbone is uncontrollable (or control only with public/people) things cannot go wrong. Otherwise this game will be over pretty soon, the rules for this game will get hijacked and will be rewritten.
