Good to hear this. The current IT minister is well versed in the Free
Software nuances of deployment and the philosophy to be unaware of the
need to take the issue seriously and put some momentum.

While I am far from Kolkata, I am interested :). In West Bengal it might
be prudent to contact Sayamindu, Soumyadip and Indranil to figure out
things on ground
