Just for the comparison sake, Debian GNU/Linux project archives
15,000+ applications in its stable tree, that is a whole 9GB or
software packages, covering every possible application that can be
done with a computer.

Plus not to mention thousands of other applications which are
available from savannah, sourceforge.
