My Apologies didnt mention the cost of Office 2003 its about 18000 per
machine, (http://computers.listings.ebay.in/Software_Business-Finance_W0QQfromZR4QQsacatZ184QQsocmdZListingItemList).

On linux you could use Openoffice.org or opt for any other opensource
freeware office application.

Another aspect where you would have a large level of indirect benefits
using Linux is the ability to scale up your operations without major
hassles, like plugging in additional free tools and security updates
and tweaking of your OS to deliver better performance per CPU.
