Dear Professionals,
The Department of Library and Information Science,Andhra
University,Visakhapatnam(A.P) is organising a four day national
workshop on
E-Learning Technology applications in LIS Profession from  March 2 - 5,
2005. Following topics would be covered in the workshop:
   - Introduction to E-Learning
   - Introduction to E-Learning Methods and technologies and their
application in LIS profession
   - Multimedia Applications- Preparation of effective power point
presentations using text,audio,images,video content
     and Animation ,
     Use of OCR technologies,
  - Overview of HyperText MarkUp Language
  - Design of Web sites for Libraries and Information Centers


The Workshop is mainly organised for Librarians and LIS teachers with
basic
knowledge of IT. Workshop is
intended for a limited number of participants.

Registration fee is Rs.500/-per participant. Payment can be made by
