Please thread using message-id. Gnus threads incoming mail correctly -
please try using it. Anand Babu and RK Muthukrishnan have already
shared their .emacs and .gnus.el files here and it should help to get
started.
If a long thread merely reads "Subject: The same title for all posts to
this thread" how can you quickly tell one post from the other? Since
mail servers and agents can use message-id to keep track of the thread,
we can make good use of the subject line to give titles that describe
the content of the post. This way, the archive indexes at
http://mm.gnu.org.in/pipermail/fsf-friends/ are easier to refer in the
future.
