THIRUVANANTHAPURAM FEB. 9. Companies at the Technopark, near here, rate Free, Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS) highly, a survey conducted by the Trivandrum Chapter of Computer Society of India in association with the Group of Technopark Companies shows. 

Many companies use both Windows and Linux operating systems. The most commonly used operating system was Windows NT family (90 per cent), followed by Windows 95 family (85 per cent) and the GNU/Linux family (80 per cent).
