This is a proprietory Knowledge Base tool we use at our office.

I'm looking for 'Free' (as in Freedom) alternatives.  Tried to find something 
on Freshmeat, but no joy. Anyone knows what something like this would cost to 
make and where to post such a request?

Prefereably it should work on PHP/MySQL.

I'd be happy to pay for it, license is GPL and upload it to a site for the 
rest of the world to enjoy it.
