Learning that in third world countries, the cellphone / smartphone is
used for unconventional things such as national and international money
transfer, I have found that the cellphone somehow has become the "poor
man's computer" (poor woman's of course too!). Based on this, I have
several ideas for an educational and social project, a cellphone /
smartphone and mobile X Terminal in One, completely based on Free software.

By hacking / reverse-engineering the ICA-Client for UNIX, I see the
possibility that the device may log in to an X Window System and a
Windows Terminal Server at the same time.

Nachdem ich gelesen hatte, dass in einigen Entwicklungsländern das Handy
bzw. Smartphone für ungewöhnliche Zwecke wie nationale und
internationale Überweisungen benutzt wird, wurde mir klar, dass das
Handy / Smartphone irgendwie zum "Computer des armen Mannes" (natürlich
auch der armen Frau!) geworden ist. Darauf aufbauend habe ich mehrere
Ideen für ein Projekt im Bereich Bildung und Soziales, ein Handy /
Smartphone und mobiles X-Terminal in Einem, komplett beruhend auf Freier
Software.

Mittels Hacken / Reverse-Engineering des ICA-Client for UNIX sehe ich
die Möglichkeit, dass ein solches Gerät sich an einem X Window System
und einem Windows Terminal Server gleichzeitig einloggen kann.
